Welcoming Dr. Thao Pham, researcher from the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE), the invited speaker for special session at the 2nd International Conference on Applied Science and Health, 29 September 2017, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
Since last 5 years, she has been working with interest “Bringing science to policy” which includes but not limits to:
Development of emissions inventory (current, projection and mitigation options) for greenhouse gases, criteria pollutants and toxic substances from anthropogenic sources especially for power plants and industrial facilities.
Application of atmospheric modeling to investigate air quality (focusing on particulate and ozone) under different emissions scenarios and sources-receptor exercise.
Assessment of impact of different “policy to emissions” scenarios to quality index human health, economic aspect etc.
In the 2nd ICASH, Dr. Thao will deliver her work “Approach of health benefit assessment due to air pollution in Thailand”.
